This linen hamper is a rectangular polypropylene and aluminum hamper with a lid damper and foot pedal that is suitable for use with the 30-gallon Rubbermaid Commercial Premium 6350 linen hamper bag (sold separately) and that complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard 1910.1030 on blood-borne pathogens for the safe containment of infectious waste. The damper-controlled lid helps contain odors and bacteria and closes gently, making it suitable for hospital rooms and other quiet places. A foot pedal quietly lifts the lid and enables hands-free trash disposal. Polypropylene is more rigid than polyethylene and is resistant to certain chemicals. Aluminum weighs less than steel and resists corrosion and tarnishing. 2 swivel caster wheels on the back and 2 fixed and lockable caster wheels on the front provide quiet maneuverability for noise-sensitive environments.
